He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Champion and Elmina Reece. He is survived by: his wife Lynneita Waddell Champion of Ellijay, GA; his daughters, Jamie (Logan Parker) and Julie (Jason Thompson); and his granddaughter Marie Townson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery fund In Memory of Mr. Champion.
