Herbert Alvin left this world on August 4, 2025 at the age of 75, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Zelt and Rose Zelt; his children, Amanda Zelt and John Zelt; and his brother Bill Zelt.
He is survived by: his significant other Rebecca Lynn Bragg Zelt; his children, Adam Zelt, Angie Zelt, Ashley (Brennen Elliott), Felicia Zelt, Matthew (Tamara Zelt), Tyler Zelt, Gracie Bragg and Kacie Zelt; and his siblings, Dorothy, John, Jerry and Helen. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Thompson Strickland Waters Funeral Home, Joiner Anderson Chapel (107 Singleton Ave, Sylvania, GA 30467).
