He was predeceased by: his father Keff Carder; his significant other Carole Carder; his daughter Kimberly Joyce Carder; and his brother Pat Carder. He is survived by: his son Rick; his daughter-in-law Angie; his daughter Deana; his son-in-law Roger Hopper of Ellijay; his grandchildren, Candice Rogers (John), Kimber Carder, Caitlin Carder, Jackson Echols and Conway Haggard Jones; his great grandchildren, Johnathan and Isabella Rogers; and his sister Alma Heard.
