It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Walter Smith of Ellijay, Georgia, who passed away on July 13, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Walter Smith to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his father Homer Woodrow Smith; and his sisters, Johnnie Sellers, Jo Ann Smith, Charlene Smith, Judy Nix and Nellie Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Evealine Smith; his children, James Hilton Smith and Ashley; his son-in-law Chris Mucha; his brothers, Homer (Ruthie Smith) and Martin (Patti Smith); and his grandson Dayton Mucha. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mr. Smith may be made to the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery Fund in care of Dennis Ralston @ 117 River Lane, Ellijay, GA 30536.
