He is survived by: his wife Jean Brooks; his children, Robin Boyd (Winston), Dawn Caraway (James), Dan Smith, Rhonda Chambers and Jerry Brooks; and his sister Francis Moser of Kingsport, Tennessee.. He is also survived by his ten grandchildren; his thirteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hart's Mortuary, Jones County Chapel (307 Pecan Ln, Gray, GA 31032). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
