He was predeceased by: his parents, L. M. Coffey and Pauline Gentry Coffey; and his brother Jerry Lee Coffey. He is survived by: his siblings, Johnny M. L. Coffey (Frances) of Chatsworth, GA, James Windle Coffey of Calhoun, GA, Wanda Ballew (Steven) of Calhoun, GA, Helen Green of Stevenson, AL and Ann Gordon of Calhoun, GA; his sister-in-law Wanda Coffey; and his close friend Malcolm Harris (Ann). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
