It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Arthur Igou of Ellijay, Georgia, born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, who passed away on April 11, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Henry and Evelyn Almeda Igou (Reneau); and his wife Carol Hammontree Brown. He is survived by: his children, Amy Williams of Buford, GA and Patrick Hammontree of Buford, GA..
