She was predeceased by: her husband Eugene Cecil Young; her parents, Maude Grant and Arthur Grant; her siblings, Don, Carl (Tuck), Lowell Grant, Opal Kee, Maxine Davis, Betty Davis and Joan Tucker; her son-in-law Alan May; and her brother-in-law Charles Young.

She is survived by: her daughters, Gena (Jack Davis), Tracey (Mike Hurd) and Denise (Tom Cox); her grandchildren, Brandon (Morgan), Joshua (Tiffany), Christopher Helton (Victoria), Noah May, Laura Grice (McClellan), Candice Chancey (Joshua), Jacob Pierce (Elizabeth) and Ty Cox; and her godchildren, Levi Higdon and Ashley Turner. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Flowers are being accepted or donations may be made to Calvary Way Baptist Church in memory of Joyce.
