Kathy E. Penn Marks Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathy E. Penn Marks of Ellijay, Georgia, who passed away on July 1, 2022 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Helton and Icy Helton (Brannon); her former husband John L. Penn; and her brothers, Andy Helton, Junior Helton and Jessie Helton.
She is survived by: her husband William Marks of Ellijay; her children, Angela Munn (Jeff) of Durham, Icy Taylor (Justin Phillips) of Cleveland and Joshua McQuinn of Cleveland; her siblings, Loretta Helton, Mazie Helton, Jackie Greenwood, Danny Helton and Wayne Helton; and her grandchildren, Tyler Merrill of Maine, Alexander Cope of Ohio and Hope Allen of Cleveland. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Per Kathy's wishes, in lieu of flowers, family and loved ones may donate to their local ASPCA, as she advocated for animals in need.
