He was predeceased by: his parents, Malcolm Lee Carter and Hazael Carter (Bynum). He is survived by: his wife Candace Schmidt Carter; his children, Malcom Lee Carter, III (Susan) and Sara Carter; his nephew Lyndy Carter; his pet Oscar; and his caregiver Orville. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church (115 Pleasant Grove Rd, Ellijay, GA 30540).
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to your local humane society in memory of Mac Carter.
