With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marian Joyce Henderson of Ellijay, Georgia, born in Denver, Colorado, who passed away on May 12, 2026 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Marian departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Marian. Though Marian may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She is survived by: her husband Allison Robert Henderson; her daughters, Diana Brantley of Kennesaw, Donna Hefner of Acworth and Bobbi Victor Bailey (George) of Smyrna; and her grandchildren, Margaret Wegner, Christina Koudelka, Lori Hefner and Roland Hefner.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 6th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery (115 Pleasant Grove Rd, Ellijay, GA 30540).
