The memory of Marilyn Kay Ashley of Ellijay, Georgia, who passed away on March 21, 2026 at the age of 79, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Neal Jackson Wells and Mary Jo Peterson (Hendrix). She is survived by: her daughter Michelle Rountree (Hugh); her grandchildren, Hunter Rountree, Hannah Burks (Ian), Averi Turner (Merritt), Addie Rountree, Kaylin Rountree and Kaden Reece; and her brothers, Danny Peterson (Anita), Jack Wells (Kay) and Don Wells (Shirley). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
