Maxine (Towery) Griffith Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maxine (Towery) Griffith of Ellijay, Georgia, who passed away on June 29, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Marshall and Clara Towery (Moses); her husband J. T. Griffith; her siblings, Charles Towery, Harold Towery and Eula Towery Botts; and her grandson Adam Griffith.
She is survived by: her sons, Joseph T. Griffith of Ellijay, GA and Dennis (Susan Griffith); her grandsons, Mathew Griffith and Eric Griffith; her great grandchild Jonathan Tyler Griffith; and her brother Earl Towery of Ellijay, GA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Flowers are being accepted or donations can be made to Whitestone Baptist Church in Maxine's memory.
