It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Monte Smith Davenport of Ellijay, Georgia, who passed away on October 26, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Claude Davenport and Janice Smith Davenport; and his daughter Tonya Davenport. He is survived by : his son Tyler; his daughter-in-law Kaylee Davenport of Whiteman, AFB; his daughters, Monja (Jamie Norwood), Georgia and Cyndi (Corey Brown); his grandchildren, Jax Davenport, Asher Davenport, Ariel Davenport, Jasmine Leatherwood, Joseph Leatherwood, Harmony Norwood and Tristan Norwood; and his great grandchildren, Paxton Leatherwood and Preston Leatherwood.
