She was predeceased by: her parents, Doyle Jay Ponder and Iola White Ponder; and her husband Eugene Talmage Godfrey. She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Jean Williams (Daryl) of Ball Ground and Lisa Wingard (Ricky) of Ellijay; and her grandchildren, Jason Williams (Kim), Kylie Williams and Nate Wingard (Heather). She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren.

Flowers are being accepted, or donations may be made to the Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery Fund in Pickens County, Georgia.
