He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Eugene Gunn and Nellie Ruby Kelley Marsengill; his son Brandon Alred; and his brothers, Ernest Gunn, Tommy Gunn and Calvin Gunn.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Jones Gunn of Ellijay; his children, Adam Gunn (Kristle) of Ellijay and Lynn Talley (Jason) of Clayton, GA; his sister Carol Allgary (Sam) of Clayton, GA; and his grandchildren, Kayla Brown, Kelsey Watts, Klarissa Talley, Austin Craig, Ella Craig, Isabella Brown, Isaiah Brown, Harlan Watts and Leighlan Watts. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
