We are sad to announce that on August 25, 2024, at the age of 70, Rena E. Mattern of Ellijay, Georgia, born in Robbinsville, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her daughter Christy Woody of Waco, GA; her son-in-law Johnny Farmer of Temple, GA; her sons, Robert Mattern Jr. (Jennifer) of Jasper, GA, Jason Woody (Melissa) of Villa Rica, GA and Jeremy Mattern of Marietta, GA; her grandchildren, Mitchell, Jared, Hannah, Logan, Lily, Heather, Matt, Jeremy and Gabi; and her siblings, Mitchell Holloway (Linda), Michael Holloway and Stephanie Lambert (Alan). She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
