She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Tillman Exum Jr. and Sarah Valrea Exum; her brothers, Thomas Tillman Exum III, Malcolm Douglas Exum, Gregory David Exum and Daniel Michael Exum; and her former husband William Harrell Starley, Jr. (Bill).
She is survived by: her siblings, James Fletcher Exum and Donna Exum Boozer (David); her sister-in-law Sandra Exum (late Thomas); her stepgrandfather Willie Etheridge (Bill); her mother-in-law Carolyn Starley; her siblings-in-law, Cindy Bazemore (James), Janet Proctor (late Kent) and Jimmy Starley (Laurie); her father-in-law William Harrell Starley, Sr. (Frog); and also, Gene and Jackie Goode (Sherry). She is also survived by her children and grandchildren.
