It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven Daniel Cavanaugh of Ellijay, Georgia, who passed away on April 11, 2022, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Francis Edward Cavanaugh; and his brother Michael Cavanaugh. He is survived by: his wife Susan Cavanaugh; his son Brandon Cavanaugh (Katy) of Roswell, GA; his siblings, Randall "Randy" Cavanaugh (Brenda), Carla Cavanaugh (Jodie), Carol Barker (Scott) and Karen Allen (Dan); his granddaughter Sophia Cavanaugh; and his siblings' children, Kery O'Sullivan (James), Kelley Allen, Kenna Allen (Mick), Paul Barker (Rachel) and Randy Cavanaugh (Malona).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
