She was predeceased by: her husband William Avery Lester; and her parents, Guy Thompson and Ruth Johnson Thompson. She is survived by: her daughter Debbie Lester; and her siblings, Patsy Turner and Quinton Thompson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ivie Funeral Home (1053 S Elm St, Commerce, GA 30529). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at the Mt. Hermon Presbyterian Church (5560 Commerce St, Danielsville, GA 30633).
