He was predeceased by: his parents, Felton Looper and Laura Sisson Looper; his wife Eddie Looper; and his son Robert Warren Looper. He is survived by: his daughter Tammi Ford of Gainesville, GA; his sister Barbara Mullinax of Cumming, GA; his grandchildren, Kelly Dodson and Kristi Leigh Ford; his great grandchild Kaiden Dodson; and his friend Cathy Atcheson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bernhardt Funeral Home (163 River St, Ellijay, GA 30540). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home (163 River St, Ellijay, GA 30540).
