With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Dempsey Greer of Ellijay, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 2, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Greer (Maudie Farmer) and William; his son Stacy Greer; and his siblings, Mary Davis, Don Greer and Tom Greer.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Grace Pierce Greer; his sons, Charles Greer and James Greer; his granddaughter Jennifer Cranford (Jason); his great grandchildren, Zayne Rommel and Christian Rommel; and his friends, Donna Wheeler and Elizabeth Rommel.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bernhardt Funeral Home (163 River St, Ellijay, GA 30540).
