He was predeceased by: his parents, George Humphrey Strickland and Lila Boyd Strickland; his wife Anna Bell Strickland; and his sister Shipp. He is survived by: his children, Janet Strickland McDaniel, Julie Strickland, Allyson Rhodes (Joey) and David Kennedy (Michelle); and his grandchildren, William Howell Tibbitts, Tyler Hudgins, Miranda Hudgins, Hailey McDaniel, Morgan Kennedy, Madeleine Kennedy, Lynleigh Cosper and Adam Hudgins. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren; other extended family.
