As Sylvia departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Sylvia may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Sylvia leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervin, Sr. Stone and Florine Hutchinson Stone; and her sister Sandra Hawkins. She is survived by: her husband Johnny Walker of Enigma. She is also survived by 8 Great Grandchildren and several nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Relihan Funeral Home (164 S Main St, Pearson, GA 31642). The lying in state was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the New Bethel Baptist Church (54 E Roberts Ave, Pearson, GA 31642). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
