It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Winfred George Morris of Epworth, Georgia, born in Mineral Bluff, Georgia, who passed away on January 24, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Harvey George and Etter Ann Pickelsimer Morris; his wife Susan Millsaps Morris; and his siblings, Lorrine Henderson, Geneva Reynolds and Jeanette King.
He is survived by : his children, Sherry Morris of Epworth, GA and Steve Morris of Morganton, GA; his grandchildren, Hannah Loudermilk and Michael Loudermilk; and his siblings, James Harvey Morris of Hampton, GA, Loretta Weeks of Blue Ridge, GA, Ella Mae Heaton of Blue Ridge, GA, Tommy Morris (Wanda) of Dawnville, GA, Linda Chambers (Steve) of Morganton, GA, Bobby Morris of Hampton, VA and Raymond Morris (Becky) of Morganton, GA. He is also survived by other relatives and great friends.
Flowers are acceptable, however for those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the Millsaps Church Cemetery Fund at 2280 Ritchie Creek Road, Blue Ridge, GA 30513.
