It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Andrew Powell Burdett of Euharlee, Georgia, born in Statesboro, Georgia, who passed away on July 10, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Janie Burdett; and his daughter Kristy Hollomon. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Alexus Cantrell (Taylor) and Dj Parker (Hannah); his great grandchildren, Hadleigh, Annaleigh, Piper and Parker; his son-in-law Chris Hollomon; his stepchildren, Jeremy Collins (Jodi), Jacey Robertson (David) and Josh Collins (Julia); his stepgrandchildren, James Robertson, Jacob Collins, Rachel Robertson and Theodore Collins; his brother Andy Burdett; and his nieces and nephews, Merritt Burdett (Lindsey) and Gia Beatty (Chris Helton).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sosebee Funeral Home (191 Jarvis St, Canton, GA 30114). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
