He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert G. Heath Sr. and Louise J. Heath (Hughes); and his siblings, Robert George Heath Jr., Bernard Francis Heath, Beverly Marion Kowalewski (Heath), Phyllis Ann Heath and Jean Lorrain Dunham (Heath).
He is survived by: his sisters, Dorothy "Dottie" Briere (Heath), Joyce Mae Barsalow (Heath) and Betty Lou Holley (Heath); his wife Mary Ann Heath (Rutland); his children, Paul David Heath of Eatonton, GA, Julie Lynn Simmons (Heath) of Kathleen, GA and Michael Edward Heath of Warner Robins, GA; his grandchildren, Mary Christine Heath, Jessica Lynn Simmons, Jason Scott Simmons (Michaela Marie Simmons) and Jennifer Lenora Heath; and his great grandchildren, Catalina Raegyn Simmons, Kaedyn Bodhi Simmons, Elijah David Simmons, Lydia Iris Simmons, Neveah Destiny Heath, Marquis DeMario King Jr. and Lyrica Dream King.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Townsend Brothers Funeral Home (215 W Jackson St, Dublin, GA 31021). A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Dublin Memorial Gardens (2986 US-80, Dublin, GA 31021).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to either the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Association.
