She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband John Lloyd Saunders; her children, Rebecca S. McKenzie (Gregg), Dorothy M. Denny (late Richard) and John L. Saunders, Jr. (Stacey); her grandchildren, David McKenzie (Meredith), Claire McKenzie, Mark McKenzie, Elizabeth Joy McKenzie, Cameron McEvoy (India), Richard McEvoy (Imogen Man), Sarah Saunders, Anna S. Jones and Caroline Saunders; and her great grandchildren, Ella McKenzie, McKenzie Logue, Emery Jane McKenzie, Jasper McEvoy, Tabitha McEvoy, Jago McEvoy, Orry McEvoy, Jones and Banks Keith.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Westover Memorial Park (2601 Wheeler Rd, Augusta, GA 30904). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Brandon Wilde (4275 Owens Rd, Evans, GA 30809).
