He was predeceased by: his parents, Blake Seward and Josephine Seward (Severyn) of Canonsburg, Pennsylvania.. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth; his daughters, Alissa Kowal of Canonsburg and Jennifer Groton of Leesburg; his grandchildren, Christopher Logan (Missy), Jonathan Seward (Chelsea), Anthony Kowal, Paige Groton and Blake Groton; and his sisters, Cheryl Wastek (Greg), Patricia Svitek (Ken) and Marian Baumgardner. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and many cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services, Ltd. (30 E College St, Canonsburg, PA 15317). A Mass will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St. Patrick Church (317 W Pike St, Canonsburg, PA 15317).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the University of Pittsburgh School of Engineering or Catholic Social Services of Augusta, GA.
