He was predeceased by: his parents, Waymon Kemp and Aren Kemp (Williams); and his siblings, Myrtle Kemp, David Aren "Arnie" Kemp and Herman Lee.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Kemp (Suggs); his children, Carlette Robinson (Randy), Randy Kemp (Wendy) and David Kemp; and his brother Ottis Kemp. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 23rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Platt's Funeral Home (337 N Belair Rd, Evans, GA 30809). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, August 23rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
