He is survived by : his wife Tammy Murphy; his children, Kristen Murphy (Charles "Moe" Weathers) and Jonathan Murphy; his mother Betty Murphy; his grandson Chase Murphy-Weathers of Daisy, Georgia; his brother Cecil Murphy of Dublin, Georgia; his parents-in-law, Linda and Larry Jones; and his siblings-in-law, Andy of Claxton, Georgia and Amy Jones of Claxton, Georgia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
