She was predeceased by: her parents, William Frank Hughes Jr. and Minnie Lonita McDonald Williams; and her siblings, William Frank "Bubba" Hughes III, Barron Hughes, Sara Brenda Whitaker and Ronnie Hughes.
She is survived by: her husband Charlie Beale; her children, Tom Lewis (Renea) and Brandi Winkler (Scott); her stepchildren, Michelle Brown (Craig), Chip Beale (Stacy) and Heather Parkerson (Tommy); her grandchildren, Hope Payne (Billy), Hudson Pulliam (Tressa), Parker Lewis and Tucker Pulliam; her stepgrandchildren, Chris Brown (Jordan), Sydney Gobel (Austin), Landen Beale, Riley Parkerson and Avery Parkerson; her great grandchildren, Willow Payne, Oliver Payne and Everleigh Gobel; her sister Carol Bazemore (Glen); and her sister-in-law JoAnn Hughes.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors (214 Davis Rd, Augusta, GA 30907). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
