He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Charles W. Raker, Sr. and Mazie Raker. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his brother Charles Raker, Jr. of Houston, TX; his sons, David, Paul of Havertown and Holland; and his grandchildren, Leatitia, Andrew, Vivian and James.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Cancer Society.
