She is survived by: her children, Sheri Lea Whelchel and Duward Whelchel Jr.; her brother Robert Morris; her grandchildren, Jamie Rich, Isaiah Parham, Daniel Parham, Jordan Parham and Elias Whelchel; her great grandchildren, Violet Rich and Aria Barker; and her sister-in-law Grace Morris.
