With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eugene M. Howerdd Jr. of Evans, Georgia, who passed away on November 9, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Gene and Katie Howerdd, Sr.; his sister Mary Joe Leach; his niece Kay Leach; and his son-in-law Benny Price.

He is survived by: his wife Martha Armstrong Howerdd; his children, Trey Howerdd, Chris Howerdd, Lisa Howerdd Stargel (Rick), Katherine Howerdd Price, Maura Howerdd Burden (Mark) and Lauren Howerdd (Rachel Schwartz); his grandchildren, Leah Howerdd Gaudin (Josh), John Howerdd, Tripp Price, Miller Price, Richard Stargel, Quinn Burden, Owen Burden and Leo Howerdd; and his great grandchildren, Rooks and Wells Gaudin.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital, and the American Cancer Society.
