She is survived by: her children, William Hooker Jr. and Lisa Marie Chastain; her son-in-law Hubert Chastain; her close friend Bonnie York; her grandchildren, Augusta Jackson, Cassie Neely, Michael Chastain, Makalia Raulerson, Nikki Jacobs, Seth Raulerson, Leland Chastain, Tanzie Raulerson, Madison Chastain and Geneva Chastain; her great grandchildren, Nova, Rachael, Lorilye, Lincoln, Athena and Margot; her brothers, Ron, William, Steve, Mike and Don; Taylor Bilton, Jonathan Bilton, Mia Featherstone, Adriana Morse, Nevaeh, Levi, Caylyn, Cameron, Reese of Nixon, AJ, Alayna and Abel. She is also survived by many extended family and dear friends.

“Evelyn was a friend of my late wife's since High School, even from when their families were stationed in Germany. My wife , Evelyn, Suzzane would often meet halfway from Augusta to Atlanta off I-20 and get lunch and set up shop in the parking lot out away from the crowds and the three of them would tell all their war stories. Now, only Suzzane is the surviving friend that knows all the stories. My wife, Marie, and her brother Charles were friends of the family whereby all Army continued below”
