He was predeceased by: his brothers, Earl Fyffe and John Fyffe. He is survived by: his wife Dagmar S. Fyffe; his children, Derrick G. Fyffe (Lori) and Evelyn Sybille Fyffe-Mathiesen (Kay); his grandchildren, Shannen Edry (Chris), Leah Mathiesen, Ryan Fyffe, Ben Mathiesen and Thomas Mathiesen; his great grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Madelyn and Caroline; and his siblings, Preston Fyffe, Mary Savage and Faribee Pinkerton.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors (214 Davis Rd, Augusta, GA 30907). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
