We are sad to announce that on March 25, 2023, at the age of 86, Gayle McAfee Wooding of Evans, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

It is directed by Col. Wooding herself that in lieu of flowers donations in her honor be made to Ralph W. and Harriet H. McAfee Military Nursing Scholarship Endowment: Ralph W. and Harriet H. McAfee Military Nursing Scholarship Endowment was established in 2010 by Col. Gayle McAfee Wooding (BSN, 1977) in memory and honor of her parents.
