He was predeceased by: his parents, Iules Patton Sr. and Elizabeth Applewhite Patton; and his brother Marvin Applewhite. He is survived by: his wife Danis Marie Patton; his children, Daphne Marie Freeman (Brian), Dana Ann Buckhalter (Tony) and Jonathan Iules Patton; his grandchildren, Jasmine Hamilton (Shemar), Devin Buckhalter (Mercedes), IsaBella Freeman, Olivia Freeman and Ever Patton; and his great grandchildren, Mavea Buckhalter, Angelica Barday, Milia Taylor and Nolynn Hamilton. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors (214 Davis Rd, Augusta, GA 30907). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Biloxi National Cemetery (400 Veterans Ave, Biloxi, MS 39531).
