He was predeceased by : his parents, Albert Adcox and Julia Dallas Adcox; his wife Delores Lucille Adcox (Georgia); his daughter Angela Adcox Greene; his grandson John Michael Adcox; and his siblings, Duncan Adcox (Jackie), Dorson Adcox (Sue), Carlene Williams (Robert) and Elaine Rogers (William).

He is survived by : his sons, Michael Adcox (Patsy) and Chris Adcox (Susie); his grandchildren, Steven Greene (Allison), Rachel A. Prothman (Mikey) and Dallas Adcox; and his great grandchildren, Sarah, Sebastian, Sophia and Michael.
