He is survived by: his children, James Alfred Sapp of Warner Robbins, Robert Lynn Sapp (Tina White) of Reidsville, Sheila Ann Shuman (Michael) of Nebraska, Charity Tessa Grant (Troy Cothern) of Register and Karly Leann Sutton (William) of Claxton; and his siblings, James Wiley "J. W." Sapp Jr. Sapp (Annidean) of Brunswick, Ruby Joyner of Statesboro and Brookie Sapp (Debbie) of Daisy. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial (124 Jordan St, Reidsville, GA 30453). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
