He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Coyle Savage (Edna Savage) and Lanier Savage; his sister Eleanor "Bug" Patterson; his granddaughter Morgan Taylor Savage; his wife Henri; his son Robert Savage (Courtney); his grandchildren, Harrison and Ettabelle; his daughter Dr. Beth Savage (Dave Hageman); his grandchildren, Charlie and Sadie; his brother Ernest Roy "Doc" Savage (Diana); and his sisters-in-law, Kitty Smith and Judy Griffin.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Platt's Funeral Home (337 N Belair Rd, Evans, GA 30809). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
