He is survived by: his wife Ruth Harn Hearn; his children, John Paul Hearn (Renee) and Kim Sommers (Buck); his granddaughters, Taylor Meyer (Evan), Anna Kate Hearn (Jackson Lanier), Abigail McMickle and Maggie McMickle; and his brother Terry Hearn (Debbie).

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Elam Baptist Church (5199 Elam Rd, Millen, GA 30442). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at the Elam Baptist Church Cemetery (5199 Elam Rd, Millen, GA 30442).
