He was predeceased by: his father Jack Scherer; his father-in-law Wayne Baker; and his brother-in-law David Baker. He is survived by: his wife Tanya; his children, Garrett, Gabriella, Joshua and Jacob; his daughter-in-law Amanda; his mother Pam Scherer; his mother-in-law Gail Baker; and his brothers, Scott (Lori), Doug (Beth) and Skip (Holli). He is also survived by three nieces and a nephew.
