He is survived by: his wife Evora James; and his children, Stephen James III (Celesta), Pamela Calloway and Rev. Lisa Bene Davis. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 20 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home (2945 Old Tobacco Rd, Hephzibah, GA 30815). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Keysville (3948 Deans Bridge Rd, Hephzibah, GA 30815).
