He was loved and cherished by many people including: his significant other Joyce Hattaway Miles; his parents, Talmadge Miles and Annette Miles; his daughter Rene'Alexander (James); his grandchildren, Zachary Rester, Peyton Serrano (Seth) and Lilly Rester; his great grandchildren, Leona, Nova, Freya and SJ Serrano; and his siblings, Phillip Miles (Judy), Nathan Miles, Janet Ladun (Mike), Wanda Akridge (late Bobby) and Angela Kitchens (Ronnie). He was also cherished by his brothers, nephews and son-in-law.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors (214 Davis Rd, Augusta, GA 30907). A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
