He is survived by: his wife Janis Haskell Burckhalter; his children, Jennifer Finch (Andy), April Keefe, Clay Burckhalter (Katie) and Bryce Burckhalter (Austin); his grandchildren, Madison Fernandes, Harrison Fernandes, Julia Finch, Caroline Finch, Knox Burckhalter, Finn Burckhalter and Elsie Burckhalter; and his siblings, Don Burckhalter (Jane) and Kathy Mitchell.
