He was predeceased by: his wife Sherry Brady Beasley; his parents, Wesley Beasley and Evelyn Youngblood Beasley; and his daughter-in-law Sandra Lee Dowd. He is survived by: his children, Glenn Dowd of Uvalda, Lynn Smiley (Bruce) of Brooklet and Shelly Powell of Athens; his siblings, Loraine Beasley Murphy of Blairsville, Wesley "Junior" Beasley of Oak Park, Elmer Beasley of Stillmore and Harold Beasley of Oak Park; and his grandchildren, William Keith Dowd, Kasey Lanier Rogers (Luke), Jake Lanier, Annabelle Powell, Johnny Andrew Powell, Sara Sapp and Joshua Dowd (Victoria). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
