He was predeceased by: his father William Hiram Thigpen Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Patricia T. Chavis; his wife Jeni Thigpen; his sons, Mac Thigpen (Courtney) and Cooper Thigpen (Carsen); his grandson Forest W. Thigpen; his stepfather Bobby Chavis; his in-laws, Leonard and Dean Tankersley; his sister Michelle Schumpert (Michael); his siblings-in-law, David "Dave" M. Massey Jr. (Lorene) and Marci Tankersley; his sibling's children, Alexis Griffith (Dylan), Lindi Boyd (Savanah), Lani Boyd (Jeremy), Jimmy Bozard (Gracie), Corbin Schumpert and David "Doc" M. Massey III (Kinsey); and his great-nephew Asher Griffith.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Platt's Funeral Home - Evans (337 N Belair Rd, Evans, GA 30809).
