He is survived by: his sons, Billy Garrett (Beverly) of Indianapolis Indiana and Curtis Garrett (Sarah) of Fairburn, Georgia; his stepchildren, Bruce Thomas, Tafrinda Smith (Eric) and Matthew Thomas (Mandy); his grandchildren, Phillip Dunlap Jr., Jaylyn Garrett, Dr. Makaylah Garrett, Crishonda Christian (Clifford), Christopher Garrett (Jhoni), Caleb Garrett, Tarai Bates, Jayshan Jackson, Brian Bates, Brad Bates, Matt Thomas and Cierra Thomas; and his great grandchildren, Landon Dunlap, Clifford Christian III, Sabine Jackson, Logan Bates, Ender Bates and Bren Bates.
